The first of anything was always special, which was why Dracon couldn't just sit and watch Halloween pass by. Sure there would be families on the island, and they could go about their trick or treating. However he also knew there plenty of people who did not have a family, so a party was in order.

"Everything is in order, sir." Greg said, "I am sure all of the island knows of the party now." Besides the parchment that told about the party, there was also information as to where the party was going to be at and how to get there.

"Good good. Must find something to wear. Just throw something on that's old." Dracon said. He kept a lot of his old clothes, which provided him with outfits for such parties. "Got something for you too, even though I have a feeling you got some old clothes the same as I.."

Greg didn't say a word. He was unsure of if or when he would tell Dracon more about himself. He mainly hoped to keep the man busy so he wouldn't ask so many questions.

They both had the same mask but one was gold and one was silver. It was still clear who was who as Dracon could goof around while Greg made sure that the music was ready and the food was in its place. Not to say, make sure the hall looked like it was made for a Halloween ball.

There was a light fog that would roll about when people danced.

Now they would just have to wait and see if anyone showed.

Sherlock Reginald Vincent LaRoux, also known as The Bloody General or The Ancient one, ascended the large stone steps and stepped into the well lit hall. He could hear the music playing from the other room and he took off his large red and gold velvet coat and handed it to one of the attendants. He swiftly walked down the hall and into the main room. He saw a few people dancing and he folded his hands behind his back as he watched everyone with a blank look on his face.
Though he himself was actually pleased with the decor and the setup of the party he didn't show it. In fact he could have been mistaken for disliking the party.
Sherlock walked over to a table and took one of the appetizers and popped on into his mouth.
He ate it in one Swift motion without having to chew and he leaned against the table, now folding his arms across his chest.
His handsome appearance gained him the attention of a few pretty girls whom he gave a warm smile to.

Kira wasn't too sure about going. Of course it might have been because of it being Halloween. The normal people seemed to get rather paranoid during this time of the year, not as bad as it was so long ago though. This would give her an excuse to wear something she hadn't worn in a very long time.

She grinned. "This could be fun." she said. This would also give her a chance to see who else was on the island.

Moments later she found herself in front of the large mansion like building. She wondered if this ball was being held by who ever created this island.

Kira followed the sound of music until she found where the ball was being held. There were also plenty of workers to point out the way.

She looked around, not that many people here so far. She crossed over to the drinks to see what they were serving.

Serena stared at the paper. Ball was some sort of party? She had to look up more about Halloween and Masquerade.

"Masks?" she mused. It was very rare for her village to use masks. They were used during some rituals and then there were the war masks. But this ball thing had her curious, so of course she had to go, even if it was simply to study the event.

But she had no idea what to wear. Lucky for her G would solve that problem. She wasn't sure if she would see him there however, same went for those she had met on the island so far.

Serena got ready that night, glad it wasn't a new moon or full moon. New moon she would miss the whole night and that wasn't any fun. Full moon she would hold no chance of seeing Aub, if he went. Not to say she tended to spend her time out in the woods, keeping him company.

She frowned a little. She had just started to wear this stuff they called make up. It was different than war paint or markings they used during rituals. She called it good on it, she would be wearing a mask anyway.

Next task was to find this place and with the help of her cell phone, she was able to find it.

Serena spent a lot of time looking around on how the place was set up. The fog was interesting as it rolled across the floor. She noticed there were some people there, but she couldn't be sure if she knew them.

She sniffed the air lightly. Kira was here, though she only just met the woman. She couldn't consider her as a friend yet. She was still waiting for them to spar.

Really it was been a toss up on if she was going to show up, Roja had torn through her closet, going as far as flying out to one of her other dwellings to try to find something. She had been aghast to learn most of her nice dresses were from older times, and while true one of them would work she didn't want to show her age. Corsets, while coming back, weren't made like they used to be, and some of the styles just stood out now-a-days.

It was taken her a shopping trip, not that she needed an excuse to go dress shopping, there had been some issues finding a dress that wouldn't clash with her hair. Sadly she got stuck with black, would have preferred silver and red, but that would have taken too much time to find. Over all she liked her outfit for the evening, dressing up always made her feel better, with a pretty dress, and strappy heels, jewelry wasn't her thing though.

And while there couldn't have been a doubt who she was, floor length red hair made it hard to pretend otherwise, she still wore a mask. It was a masquerade after all, besides the mask was from times long gone, blackened steal and beautifully done, had been a gift years and years ago.

Really her entrance to the ball was quiet, she half sneaked in, course that was ruined when she squealed upon seeing the fog and promptly went to jump and skip through it.

(Not sure how to do this, but directed towards Sherlock LaRoux)

"You know pet, I don't think you're suppose to look bored at these things," The amused voice was from off to his side from a woman approaching the buffet table, or whatever they were called when fancy, she honestly didn't know. "Course I could be wrong, balls aren't exactly something I frequent."

She was dressed in aqua of all colors, somewhat standing out from the more tame colors other women seemed to be favoring, a lesson learned there she supposed. Silver heels put her over six foot, though the height matched her well enough it looked graceful rather than awkward.

Brown eyes behind the silver donned mask easily showed her amusement, it seemed no matter the type of party there would always be a guy hanging out near the food smiling at random women, it never failed. Ebony fiddled with one of the many bracelets she wore, might have seemed like a nervous habit if not for easy smile, "You're blocking the little meant sandwiches luv, and I rather like those."

Greg felt rather out of place. Parties was not his thing, too many people but Dracon was rather sociable person. He kept himself busy, checking on things using his tablet.

"Come on Greg, live little. Go dance with a lady." Dracon said before walking off.

Greg sighed softly. He made his way away from the corner he was in. He caught sight of some red hair and a squeal. "Lady Roja, how are you this evening?" he said with a slight bow.

Dracon on the other hand was looking over the guests. More had shown up, so it was looking like a party now.

"Greetings ladies. How are you this lovely evening?" Dracon said to Serena and Kira, he didn't think he had met them before.

She almost gave a squeak, not at all having expecting someone she knew to come up while she was playing like a little kid in the fog, it was fun though. Lest she hadn't been twirling in circles when Greg came up, that would have been embarrassing given she had to take a few moments to remove tangles from her hair after the fact. Still she flashed a bright smile at his bow and gave a curtsy in return, clearly it was a practiced movement as most women tended to not get their footing right.

"Peachy," So that wasn't at all eloquent, but she had moved along with the times, mostly, "And how do you find yourself?" Would be rude to not ask otherwise, though he wasn't looking too comfortable with his mingling and she had to fight back a giggle to wait for his answer.

Really he didn't need a mask, so had skipped such, after all he was hidden from head to toe, including wings even, he was just a cloaked figure. Doyle figured that worked out for the best, he had wanted to see what a masquerade was, much less a ball when it wasn't a round rolling thing. He was starting to think this dimension was just a bit more complex than he originally thought.

It was just about impossible to pin-point when exactly he might have shown up as he had been sticking along the walls and shadows. In fact shadows seemed to cling to him, even when he passed through a section of light. Doyle was mostly people watching, having no intentions of going near the snack table, there was too much light and too many people. He surely wouldn't go near the dance area, if nothing else that would require a willing dance partner.

He pretty much was figured he'd spend his evening along the walls, mostly out of sight, it was the wisest course of action, was rather interesting, if nothing else to take in people's choice of outfits for the evening. Apparently this ball thing was a fun event, pulled a slight smirk from him, white eyes glancing over people, though the fact his eyes reflected the light was the only thing that stood out about him.

Kira stared at Dracon for a moment, studying him. "I am well." she replied, "And yourself..?"

He seemed important. The energy he had was refined, she was assuming he must have lived a long life. Not a reincarnation like she had met before.

"My name is Kira." she added.

Kira turned her head a moment. There was someone else in the room. An energy she had never came across before. But it would seem whoever was there, wanted to stay hidden. She frowned a little, well she would seek out whoever it was in a moment.

Serena looked at the man (Dracon). She wished she knew more about balls and such. She felt really out of place here.

“I am well. How are you?” she asked. She wondered if he would tell his name, Kira had just said her own.

“I am Serena.” She added. She sniffed the air. There were people she knew here. Roja, who should be easy to find with that red hair of hers. Then there was the demon who she had met not long ago. She would see them out in a moment. She did want to know how Roja was doing.

Greg stared at her for a moment. "I am fine but parties were never my thing." he said. "Are you enjoying yourself?" he asked.

Dracon smiled, "Nice to meet you Kira, Serena. My name is Dracon." he said with a bow. "I do hope you enjoy your evening here. I also hope your stay on the island has been good."

Now she really had to giggle on that, though she tried to smoother the sound with her hand, not that it worked too well and she was left to flash a bright smile a moment later. "Poor Greg." Not at all an answer, but something she felt the need to say anyway so she did, simple as that.

"Hmm, I guess I am, enjoying myself, I haven't been to a masquerade in ages." Really if she dwelled on that thought she would start feeling old. "You however don't seem to be at all." Which made sense of course.

Roja gave a startled gasp, "Oh, you have to dance with me!" It wasn't a demand, more like a plea mixed with a whine, "No one else will." There was a bit of hopefulness in her red eyes, really one had to dance at least once at a ball.

((Forgive my long absence))

Sherlock raised his eyebrows at being adressed as such.
"Pet?",he asked his voice low and dangerous but he moved away from the table non the less.
He chose to posistion himself next to the table and his eyes surveyed her curiosly.
"You look rather charming.",he commented still not showing any emotion.
"Maybe you would care to dance later?",he folded his arms and turned away from abruptly and went back to surveying the room.
He really wasnt trying to be rude but he had little patiance tonight for some reason.
