Most likely from the start of time, it just might be that those without powers or special abilities were too blind to see. If they opened their minds and their eyes, they might have known us sooner. It only took a big incident with a group of un-normal people for the world to realize, and they panicked. Who could they trust? Anyone they knew could be unnatural. Unnatural is such a harsh word. We are much more natural then they realize. The governments of the various countries started to put laws into place that would make those who were not normal to be put into a database. Well, can't have someone who can walk through walls robbing banks I suppose. Indeed, we could see why some powers needed to be written down. For those of us who wanted more freedom, they started to move to a new city, a city where no normals were at, the city named Adlehyde. This city is on an Island named, Meropis. But we had fought in your wars, won you your freedom and our own, now have to leave our homes to be free? You can see why some would be bitter, others liked the idea of a city full of people like themselves. It wasn't like you could go to a social gathering and ask if someone was different. Who runs this city? The man goes by the name of Dracon. He created it, funded it. Not much is known about this man as he is hardly seen outside his compound. It is rumored he is immortal, and quite rich. Now the island of Meropis is not without it's laws. Dracon didn't want a city of sin and the like. The laws are enforced by robotic police. The laws are of course simple common sense. The year is 2012. There are new threats for the not normal. There are groups of hunters who want to kill us or those who wish to experiment on us.
