Announcer – “WorldWide News. The Abnormal Threat Special.”
“We are brought to you today to discuss the abnormal situation.” News Lady Jean says. “We have asked the public about this topic and brought in some guests.”
“So my first question goes to Dr. Lisa Lisen. How do you think these abormals came to be?”
“That is a hard question to truly answer. Maybe they are simply mutanted humans. Plenty of movies where this has happened. But more seriously is that it could happen. If humans could use all of their brain, who knows what kind of abilities, would we end up with.” Dr. Lisen said. “Maybe these are creatures that have lived with us from the start of this planet but never really knew about. Maybe the so called magic of the old days was really abnormal. There is no way to tell. Without further study we may never know.”
“So you want to study them. What about their freedoms as human beings?” Jean replied and that’s when a military general chimed in.
“Are they really human? That has yet to be found out. If they are not human then they have no rights or freedoms.”
“But what their kind really have lived with us all this time. Shouldn’t they have rights as we do?” the reporter replied but he shook his head. She looked to the camera again.
“We have mixed views on abnormals. Some say leave them alone, they haven’t done anything to us. While others say kill them all.”
“I just would like to say that, like us humans. We have complete sociopaths that go about killing people, we have humans that kill and hurt each other for the hell of it, for the sport, because a robbery went wrong. Us humans treat each other like crap. However, then we have people who wouldn’t hurt a fly. Humans who follow the rules and are the best of humanity.” This came from a man wearing glasses, The screen flashed Dr. Mason Kane. “Now just like we have the bad and the good humans, it would be the same way with abnormals. We can’t damn the whole because of a few. We need to reach out to them and learn from them.”
“This is a bunch of dribble.” The military officer said and a whole fight broke out and the show was cut off.
